Sioux Singapore plays a pivotal role in the Asian market by offering R&D services from our centers across Europe and Asia to customers, leading development teams in Asia, from Singapore
This expansion allows us to meet the changing needs of our domestic and international (OEM) customers in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical industries.
The Role
As an HR/Recruitment Officer (Junior/Middle level) at Sioux Singapore, you will support the full recruitment and HR lifecycle, administrative operations, and maintain an efficient and welcoming workplace.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Collaborate with hiring managers to draft accurate job descriptions.
Assist in sourcing and screening candidates through various platforms.
Conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and support hiring managers.
Keep the recruitment management system updated with candidate information.
Facilitate smooth onboarding.
HR Administration
Draft and manage contracts, collecting necessary documents.
Assist with visa applications for foreign hires, ensuring compliance.
Assist with the preparation of HR-related reports, such as payroll and leave management.
Coordinate with external vendors for insurance, benefits, and other HR services.
Coordinate training programs and update training records.
Provide support in the preparation and distribution of HR communications.
Manage confidential employee files.
Office Administration
Coordinate office cleaning, office maintenance, office supplies, and pantry stocking.
Assist in planning company events and team-building activities.
Oversee employee reimbursement submissions, working with finance.
Other Responsibilities
Support HR Manager with enhancing employee engagement and culture.
Support HR Manager to prepare reports on recruitment, turnover, and training metrics.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Some experience in recruitment, including drafting job descriptions, hunting passive candidates, posting job ads, and initial candidate screenings. Experience in recruiting for software development or machine control positions is a plus.
Basic knowledge of HR administration tasks, such as managing work permit/visa application, drafting contracts and employee’s benefits.
Interest or experience in coordinating training programs and keeping training records.
Comfortable managing office supplies, coordinating office decor, and helping with team events
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic HR or Recruitment software (preferred).
Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and HR practices is a plus.
Friendly, approachable, and ready to support employees with HR-related questions.
